Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup peanut butter                            1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup white sugar                            1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1 egg                                                     3Tablespoons of Milk
1 teaspoon vanilla                               1 1/2 cups of flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder             1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream peanut butter, butter and all sugars until well blended.
Beat in egg, milk and vanilla.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Roll Tablespoons of dough into balls. Place 2" apart onto an ungreased
cookie sheet. Dip a fork into sugar then press the ball with the fork to make a chris cross design.
Bake 8-10 minutes until the edges are slightly brown.   
     

AUTUMN GOLD PUMPKIN CAKE 
This is a recipe for the non-baker. My family loves this for the fall!  
1  Duncan Hines Butter Cake
3 Eggs                                                      1 cup Water
1 tsp Cinnamon                                          1/4 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp Nutmeg                                         1 cup Walnuts-chopped
1 cup Solid pumpkin
Combine all ingredients except Walnuts. Beat on high with electric mixer for 4 minutes. Stir in Nuts. Pour batter into a 9 x 13 greased and floured cake pan.
( Can use 2 round pans or a bunt pan too).
Bake 375 degrees 30-35 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.

FROSTING
1 16 oz can Duncan Hines Vanilla Frosting
1/2 tsp Cinnamon 
1/4 cup Walnuts Chopped
Combine frosting and cinnamon. Stir until well blended. Spread over cooled cake. Sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
